Candidates must strictly follow Govt. Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) for Covid-19 i.e. wearing proper masks and social distancing of 6 ft at the entrance of hall and during the Entry : Test. The mobile numbers and E-mail address provided in the online application form should be entered correctly and they should be functional as the SMS and E-mail alerts regarding allotted roll numbers and Examination Centre shall be sent to these numbers and E-mail addresses. Mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the Test Centre otherwise strict disciplinary action shall be taken which shall also lead to cancellation of paper and debarring from: appearing in any JSMU Entry Test.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Intermediate (Pre-Medical) with minimum 60% marks
- With GCE Cambridge/London, Advance Level (A-Level), and other equivalent to HSC (pre Medical) as per HEC Guidelines; Equivalence Certificate from IBCC requires
- Domicile of SIndh mandatory for candidates to appear in Entry Test for Admission in Pharm.D Programme
CATEGORY WISE SEATS:
- Open Merit = 70
- Self Finance = 30
- Total Seats = 100
PATTERN OF ENTRY TEST:
- The Entry Test shall be developed from the Prescribed Intermediate syllabus of the Board of intermediate & Secondary Education of the Province of Sindh.
- Entry Test comprises a single paper containing 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) divied into the following 04 (four) Subjects:
- Biology = 40 MCQs
- Chemistry = 20 MCQs
- Physics = 20 MCQs
- English = 20 MCQs
- Total Marks : 100 (No Negative Marking in the Test)
- Duration of Test : 90 Minutes (1 Hour, 30 Minutes)
MERIT FORMULA:
- Intermediate : 30% (A)
- Entry Test : 60% (B)
- Interview : 10% (C)
- Final Merit : 100% (A+B+C)

- Fill online form, and submit online along with all required documents and processing fee (Voucher Rs. 2,500/- only, in any branch of HBL).

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Incomplete applications and those submitted after last date will not be accepted.
- No personal contacts will be entertained.
- Accommodation is not available for any candidate.
- Entry test venue and time will be mentioned on Admit Card.
- The candidates must reach their respective Centre at least one hour before the commencement of the Test.
- The candidates must bring the following documents with them on the Test date:
- Original CNIC/NICOP/POC / Form B/Smart Card for Juveniles issued by NADRA or Original Passport : (Photocopies are not acceptable). Those who fail to bring these documents, shall not be allowed to: appear in the Test.
- Print out of Admit Card
- A clean clip board
- Two ballpoint pens, (No pointers, markers, pencils, gel pens, etc.)
